The Australian Business Awards 2017 were held recently, with Pitney Bowes taking home a win in the ABA100 Software Innovation category for MapInfo Pro Advanced.
As a long-time partner of Pitney Bowes, Critchlow has watched the company evolve over the years, creating and developing their location analytics software solutions in line with their four key principles - power, simplicity, speed, and compatibility. It's evident that the MapInfo Pro Advanced solution reflects these driving principles in its ability to visualise and manage risk, analyse network coverage, map flood risk, and analyse crime hot spots.
Nigel Lester, ANZ Managing Director of Software Solutions says the award recognises Pitney Bowes’ achievements in the research and development of MapInfo Pro Advanced. “We are extremely proud to be recipients of this award and to be recognised for our innovation in location analytics. The success of the MapInfo Pro solution is a reflection of Pitney Bowes’ continuing drive to deliver data insights which support business outcomes and enhance the customer experience.”
In support of this award achievement, Jacob Pescini, Senior Business Developement Manager at Critchlow, who has seen, firsthand, the huge developments in the MapInfo Pro solution suite over the years says, "The MRR file format in MapInfo Pro Advanced provides a flexible solution for the entire spectrum of industry requirements.
"It is a unifying and enabling technology - it unifies the storage of all kinds of raster data (imagery, spectral imagery, continuous gridded data and thematic data) and removes the barriers of working with different kinds of raster data in the same context; it enables the highest quality visualisation and processing of raster data – at any scale and for a raster of any size."
Australian Business Awards Program Director, Ms Tara Johnston, said, “Each year the ABA100 Winners are recognised for their commitment to business and product innovation and for their achievements in transforming business practices and end user experiences.
“The Australian Business Awards are proud to acknowledge the role of these leading corporate, government and non-government organisations for implementing innovative, well-managed high-performing business initiatives and for the research and development of their innovative products and services.”
Critchlow are immensely proud to see one of their longest and most integral partners, Pitney Bowes, recognised in such a way for such a stellar product.
