RouteFinder for MapInfo

Quick Overview

RouteFinder is an application for MapInfo Professional users who need to solve routing-related problems such as:

  •  Calculating the route from one point to another, with any number of via points
  •  Creating isochrones from one or more points at a time (for analysis of location of facilities)
  •  Creating distance tables
  •  Calculating the best sequence in which to visit a number of customers
  •  Temporarily close or slow down roads

One of the key strengths of RouteFinder is the ability to customise the networks on which your analysis is undertaken. For example, Critchlow have built and supply walking, cycling, regular vehicle and heavy traffic networks. Variations of these networks have also been created that have included the gradient of the road segments in the speed calculations assigned to the roads.

See the screenshots below for examples of some of the network analysis tools that are enabled through RouteFinder.

  • Isochrones - Drive time or distance from a starting point.
