Melissa is a Consultant and Project Manager at Critchlow, with four years’ experience in the geospatial industry.
In her capacity as a Consultant, she has a wealth of experience utilising spatial data and tools (including FME Desktop, online mapping systems, and MapInfo) to achieve client objectives; which can range from creating a web map for integration into a client’s website; through to automating recurring processes.
Having started her career with the company as a spatial consultant, her focus and responsibilities have progressively moved towards project management. Melissa has experience working within an Agile methodology and a traditional project management framework to deliver successful projects.
Melissa is a member of the Project Management Institute (NZ Chapter), and is an Associate Member of NZIS – New Zealand’s Institute for Surveyors and Spatial Professionals.
She holds a Master of Science in Geography and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) degree in Environmental Management from the University of Otago.
