Exponare Training
The Exponare Administrator Training course is designed to teach GIS administrators the basic concepts of configuring Exponare through the Enquiry module.
- Learn to set up different users and assign passwords
- Configure the look of Enquiry for the users by setting up custom menus and toolbars, and
customising the work panels
- Learn how to create work contexts, alter layer settings and set up shortcuts to customise the layer
settings
- Create data binds to return information from a selection, including getting data from data tables or
linking to external applications
- Create custom queries that users may run to select information from the map. This includes basic
queries using one parameter and advanced queries using multiple or open parameters and joins
- Learn to create Print templates using Microsoft Word.
MapInfo Introductory training course
The MapInfo Introductory training course is designed to teach new users the variety of skills needed for MapInfo projects. No previous experience in GIS is required, however computer literacy is a pre-requisite.
- Create map layers and templates using tables and workspaces
- Manipulate the position, size, shape
and look of the map
- Discover how to navigate through the information layers and uncover previously hidden data

The MapInfo Advanced training course is for experienced users.

MapBasic Introductory training
The MapBasic Introductory training course is designed to give new users enough skills needed to enhance the use of MapInfo with customised tools. It enables you to understand and edit existing code as well as create your own programmes. Some previous programming experience is recommended, however exposure to MapInfo is a pre-requisite.
Learn how to:
- Add buttons and menu pads
- Produce custom dialog
- Manipulate data and MapInfo objects
- Run querys into a MapBasic program
- Use dlls to access external function.
