We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who is keen to forge new ground. We've spotted opportunities for location based intelligence to make a bigger mark in the Wellington market and we need you to accelerate our growth.

You'll have an impressive track record in achieving results, be well networked across Wellington, and gain the trust and respect of leaders in organisations. You'll be ahead of the game with tendering, be well versed at writing winning proposals and methodical in your approach. For the office based Sales Consultant role you will need to have demonstrated ability to achieve strong sales through phone based sales and e-marketing; as well as the proven ability to seek out sales opportunities, develop written proposals and successfully negotiate and close deals. Your key goals will be to increase sales revenue and deliver service to Critchlow's smaller and geographically dispersed clients. This includes growing existing business levels and winning new customers to achieve revenue targets.

Senior Consultants - Professional Services

We're growing our Location Intelligence business in New Zealand and offshore, and need people with the talent to make the most of our market opportunities. If you've got the smarts to solve complex problems and can deliver value to our customers using business, IT or GIS skills, then we have a role that'll makes the most of your talent.

With a new wave of developments in location intelligence the scope is unlimited. We need seasoned practitioners and technologically savvy people who make things happen.

We're seeking business consultants, GIS analysts and developers who have the know how in one or more of the following areas.

Consulting Skills
Your knowledge of business modeling, capturing requirements, or project management methodologies means you'll take a logical and rigorous approach to architecting and delivering even the most complex solutions. Confident in your ability to get results, your commercial acumen and communication skills will build credibility with customers.

Development and Integration
Your experience will range from databases, applications and infrastructure using robust methodologies. Web based technologies such as SaaS that enable Business-to-Business (B2B) e-commerce will be part of your tool kit. You'll be experienced in a range of languages and development frameworks including:
  • web - WCF, WPF, ASP.Net, Javascript, HTML, Java

Data Custodian
Data Product Manager

We've got opportunities for switched on people in our Data Business Team. If you've got strong data skills and are a whiz with GIS and have broad IT knowledge and databases, then we're keen for you to help shape a new wave of developments in GIS.

As a Data Custodian you will be responsible for ensuring that the integrity and provision of data for location-based intelligence products, services and support is to the highest standard and can be appropriately tailored to clients to support them to make better business decisions. A systematic and logical approach, backed by sound project management methodologies will mean you juggle the workload and solve complex problems for clients on time and to scope. You'll be able to spot trends in datasets, know the value of robust analysis and see how solutions can benefit clients. This coupled with your experience in Oracle Spatial PL/SQL, Visual Basic and Radius Studio, will set you ahead of the bunch.

As Data Product Manager you will drive the development and enhancement of data and information products for use in GIS & location intelligence applications, so that clients have better information to make improved business decisions.

You will be experienced in seeking client feedback including holding workshops, and have a client friendly approach in problem solving and providing new solutions. You will have significant experience in understanding data and have sound analytical skills, as well as being a self starter with a high degree of initiative.
