Data Upgrades
NationalMap3 Upgrades

NationalMap3 products are upgraded bi-annually to ensure you are always working with the most complete and up-to-date reference information available. Our upgrades programme utilises information from a comprehensive range of sources including local authorities, user feedback and RAMM information which is then validated using a comprehensive series of tests and checks.

Subscribers are automatically supplied with upgrades to NationalMap3 data products as they become available during the term of their subscription. Please contact helpdesk, 0800 MAPPING (0800 627 746) should you have any queries regarding the data.

As part of our commitment to keeping NationalMap3 digital map products up-to-date, we encourage feedback from our users and local authorities. If you become aware of any information which should be included in any future release, please contact the Infrastructure Manager on: 0800 MAPPING or infrastructure@critchlow.co.nz


Transition from NationalMap2 to NationalMap3

The file structure has been changed for NationalMap3 to provide cleaner .tab file storage, as well as a more intuitive layout to improve the ease of searching for specific files.

In the future, this will also make it easier for us to provide new content without the need to repeat this re-versioning exercise.
