Critchlow offers the flexibility and capacity to accept and integrate client data for display by itself or incorporated as part of a mapping project coupled with elements of Critchlow's own databases to further enhance client data.
Formats
Data received by Critchlow is readily handled by MapInfo software, supporting:
- Text files
- CSV
- Excel
- Access
- dBase (.dbf)
- ASCII delimited
- ESRI (ARC) .shp GIS
- Reference images in .bmp, .jpg, .gif, .tiff or .png formats.
Outside the MapInfo environment, Critchlow employs translation software and is able to receive a large number of other data formats including:
- Oracle 8i, 9i and 10g dumps
- Microsoft SQL dumps
- CAD files
- KML s (Google Earth)
- XML
- GML
- Trimble and other GPS data
- ESRI formats other than .shp
- and many more.
Coordinate Systems
Critchlow is able to accept and manipulate data to fit a multitude of New Zealand-specific and International datums & projections, including:
- NZMG
- NZTM
- WGS84
- GD2000
- NZGD49
- and many more.
