VisualCensus06, the latest release in the popular VisualCensus line, is now available!

VisualCensus06 displays data usually as a series of intuitive and interactive pictures. It reveals subtle patterns and trends in New Zealand's human geography that are difficult (or near impossible) to detect from general analysis. VisualCensus can be further enhanced with the integration of your business data e.g. your geocoded customer database.

2006 Census Boundary Maps

Critchlow has a new series of hard copy maps which outline the boundaries used in the 2006 New Zealand Census so you can easily interpret the Census results.

There are two map types:

Area Unit Maps
These maps show the Area Unit and Territorial Authority boundaries as at March 2006. Contextual information on the maps includes roads, parks, rivers and lakes. Roads which border the Area Units are labelled.

Territorial Authority & Regional Council Map
This map clearly shows all Territorial Authority and Regional Council boundaries, with insets of Auckland, Wellington and the Chatham Islands.

All maps are A1 in size and are available from Critchlow Ltd for $75 +gst each.

Deprivation Maps
The "NZDeprivation Maps" are a series of A1 maps of New Zealand and regions at different scales. A colour coded shading scheme describes the level of "Deprivation" which is characteristic to that geographic area.
